Viola and her twin brother Sebastian are separated in a storm and sea. Viola finds herself in the Greek city of Ilyria, where she audaciously assumes a man's identity and enters the service of Duke Orsino. The Duke is a melancholy romantic, hopelessly in love with Olivia, a countess whose disdain for all suitors is resolute - until she meets Viola (in a man's disguise, remember) who is sent by the Duke to plead his case.

Meanwhile, Viola has fallen in love with Orsino, but is trapped by her disguise and her office to Olivia.

Confused?

Add Sir Toby Belch, Olivia's drunken uncle, his cohorts, and their efforts to humiliate Malvolio, her dour steward, and then bring Sebastian (the twin look alike of Viola, you'll recall) back to be mistaken for Cesario (Viola's alias as a man) and you've got a blizzard of Shakespearean entertainment!

Often considered one of Shakespeare's best comedies, Twelfth Night is a show not to be missed!
